It was decided that we would head back to India (rightly, in my mind), but what do we now expect from the two test matches which start in the early hours of tomorrow morning? Well, not something as one-sided as the ODI’s, thats for sure – at least we hope!
We should cope better with batting since we won’t have to keep on top of high run rates and the like, and if we can put some pressure on their batsmen then maybe they won’t play with such freedom as they did last month. It should be a good test of us as it won’t be an easy series, as they have recently beaten the Aussies at home, so we should hopefully be able to see if we are comparable.
Hopefully with the security around them the players will be able to concentrate fully on the job in hand, the fans will get to see some good cricket but I won’t be surprised if I wake up in the morning with us 75-5!
