Despite the woeful ashes test series, this could be an interesting book, released later this month. Featuring the thoughts of both Steve Harmison and Justin Langer, it will be good to see the differing thoughts on the way the series went.
I’m a little worried that Harmison’s diaries are going to be full of excuses, and Langer’s full of back slapping, but hopefully there will be some insight in there as well. Will Harmison admit that he was nowhere near ready for the start of the series, and why he didn’t play in the warm up game before the 1st test?
I find diary books like this very easy to pick up, and with Amazon selling it for less than a tenner I think it will probably be worth a go. Harmison is giving the money he makes for this book to charity which is good to hear, and will ensure that he doesn’t get quite such a hard ride from the media about releasing a book.

Harmison should concentrate on trying to bowl like he did a few years back in the Windies rather than be writing a diary, he’s note Bridget Jones, he’s an international cricketer, PRIORITIES PRIORITIES!!!!
